Chief Executive Officer | Sharjah Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Office (Invest in Sharjah)
Mohammed Juma’a Al Musharrakh is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Sharjah Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Office (Invest in Sharjah), the investment promotions office operating under the Government of Sharjah. He worked for the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) for 7 years, took numerous posts in the International Affairs Department at SCCI, and was responsible for organising a number of international exhibitions and conferences promoting Sharjah locally and globally. He joined the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) in 2012, where he kicked-off his career there as the Head of Investment Promotion, until he was promoted to Deputy Director at the Sharjah FDI office. In September 2016, Al Musharrakh was later promoted to Director of the Sharjah FDI office (Invest in Sharjah), continuing his journey of success in leading Sharjah’s FDI growth, before getting promoted to CEO of Invest in Sharjah in 2018. Al Musharrakh was also a Coordinator for the Sharjah Government in the UAE Competitiveness Council.
Mohammed Juma Al Musharrakh holds a Master’s degree in International Business Management from the Australian University of Wollongong in Dubai, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the American University in Sharjah. He recently graduated from the Executive Leaders Programme at the London Business School in the United Kingdom.
Through his career experience, Al Musharrakh encompassed a comprehensive analysis and perception on the global political and economic eco-system, applying his knowledge in developing Sharjah’s FDI growth strategically and effectively.
